**About the role**
The Estates Services performs an effective maintenance service that provides a safe environment for high quality patient care. Contributing to creating Australia's leading health care environment by keeping the hospital buildings and equipment in a safe and usable condition that allows for their efficient utilisation and overall effectiveness.
The Maintenance Officer is part of a team that supports the ongoing management and coordination of day-to-day Maintenance Operations of a discrete multi-disciplinary team to achieve a high standard of performance within the Estates, Equipment Service.
**_ To be successful in this role you will have:_**
- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
- Australian recognised Electrical Trade Certificate is desirable
- Extensive knowledge of Fire Safety Systems.
- FPA Training & certificates
- Extensive knowledge of Systems Integration Testing
- Knowledge of building services, Electrical, HVAC & Plumbing
- Strong understanding of DDC and PLC Controls systems
- Demonstrated experience within a Maintenance Officer or similar position within an Engineering Maintenance environment
- Highly developed and demonstrated consultative, interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in effective contract management, particularly KPI Management
- Effective time management and organizational skills, including the ability to show initiative and work effectively under pressure
- Sound business acumen and a track record of delivering value-add impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Fosters a collaborative team spirit focused on service delivery
