**_HR and Health & Safety Administrator _**
**Aviagen **is the world's leading poultry breeding company with their Australian operations head quartered in Goulburn NSW and we are seeking our next HR & H&S; Administrator to join the team! You will find a people focused team setting along with a supportive management team. The position offers an excellent variety of day-to-day responsibilities along with the opportunity to commence a career within the Human Resources profession.
As a person you would be described as someone who is self-driven, a savvy administrator and someone who is capable of juggling numerous deliverables at any one time.
**Your main responsibilities will include**:
- Provide proactive administration support to the HRBP, H&S; Advisor and the HR Manager ANZ on a wide variety of HR administration tasks and processes.
- Maintain workforce management software and systems
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities for the organisation
- Conduct induction, onboarding and exit interviews activities
- Oversight of annual leave, flexibility requests and leave calendars
- Oversight of payroll processing - timesheets
- to ensure accuracy
- Undertake HR requirements relating to resignations and terminations
- Assist with the maintenance of the WHS management system from an administration perspective
- Undertake continuous personal development to stay up to date with legislation and best practice with the areas of HR/IR/WHS
- Proven experience coordinating business activities ideally Human Resources activities
- A basic understanding of the Fair Work Act and other related workforce related legislation
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel [pivot tables, import/export data for analysis etc], Word [mail merge, word templates etc], PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Excellent time and task management skills.
- Confidence, maturity, and the ability to make sound ethical judgments
- Motivated self-starter with proven initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail & be able to demonstrate 'think on your feet' problem solving skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills & emotional intelligence
- Ability to evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent organisational skills and capable of meeting deadlines
- A current driver's licence
- Capability to handle multiple complex situations simultaneously and a demonstrated record in positively influencing key stakeholders to achieve objectives.
- A working knowledge of Workday HCM and experience running this system for a small to medium sized organisation
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment processes, onboarding,
- A willingness to study toward HR certification and through this role initiate a career in HR Business Partnering
- An interest to learn to interpret legislation, regulations, and awards together with policies and procedures
- Be able to plan and prioritise own work, to take responsibility and utilise initiative for delivering work activities and projects in an effective and timely manner
- Background knowledge of Workplace Relations

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
