Job Summary
This role is for experienced Fitters who want to work in a workshop, plant or site-based environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven background as a Mechanical Fitter/Maintenance Fitter and be able to work on large drilling products and machinery.
About the Role
We are seeking individuals with a strong trade certificate and experience in hydraulics/hydraulic fitting. They should also be able to work safely in confined spaces and at heights, following strict protocols. Teamwork and a good safety record are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* BREAKDOWNS: Assist in resolving equipment malfunctions and breakdowns in a timely manner.
* SITE WORK: Work on site at various locations, performing tasks such as maintenance and repair of drilling products and machinery.
* PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE: Implement preventative measures to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
* TASK COMPLETION: Complete projects and tasks efficiently, working collaboratively with other team members.
What You'll Need
* AUSTRALIAN RECOGNISED TRADE CERTIFICATE: Hold a valid trade certificate in mechanical fitting/maintenance fitter.
* HYDRAULICS/HYDRAULIC FITTING EXPERIENCE: Have experience working with hydraulic systems and fittings.
* SAFETY PROTOCOLS: Be able to work safely in confined spaces and at heights within 2 years.
* TEAMWORK SKILLS: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of an experienced team.
* SOUND JUDGMENT: Make sound judgments when working independently or as part of a team.
Requirements
* AUSTRALIAN RECOGNISED TRADE CERTIFICATE: Valid trade certificate required.
* HYDRAULICS/HYDRAULIC FITTING EXPERIENCE: Relevant experience necessary.
* SAFETY RECORD: Good safety record essential.
* ATTITUDE AND SAFETY RECORD: A positive attitude and a clean safety record are a must.
