We are seeking a skilled payroll specialist/bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis.
About the Role
This position involves providing exceptional service to our loyal and happy clients. You will work off-site at clients' workplaces if needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Payroll processing for clients
* Working with clients from various industries
* Collaborating with add-ons like Dext, Hubdoc, Point of Sales systems
* Bank Reconciliation, accounts payable & receivables
* BAS & IAS preparation and liaison with clients, Managing Director & the team
* Month-end and Year-end processing, reconciliations, and data entry of required journals
* Assisting in preparing financial information/reports for Accountants, on a monthly and quarterly basis
* Ad-hoc analysis for the Managing Director & Business Development Manager as needed
Requirements
* You must reside in Australia and hold full work rights
* Excellent knowledge of XERO is required
* Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience is necessary
* Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or higher qualification is an advantage
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is expected
* Able to learn new systems and procedures quickly
* Able to multi-task and problem-solve
* Self-motivated, reliable, and trustworthy
* Experience working in a bookkeeping or accounting firm is a plus
* Good working knowledge of accounting programs MYOB & QuickBooks is desirable
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* Alert and attention to detail are necessary
