Common projects include but are not limited to, new amenities, refurbishments of school blocks, park & shelter upgrades, pathways and undercover areas About the role Working closely with the Project Manager and the Supervisor, this role will have you assisting to manage the site, organise trades and have a thorough understanding of where the job is at Key Responsibilities for the role * Take direction from the Supervisor. * Help manage the site so the Supervisor can attend other jobs * Open and lock up the site each day * Run daily pre-starts * Make sure subcontractors are inducted, SWMS signed, and briefings done * Have a basic understanding of safety and OH&S * Keep an eye on subcontractors when the Supervisor isn't around * Bring their own basic carpentry tools * Make sure everyone signs out * Upload daily photos to BT and complete daily logs Physical Tasks * Jack of all trades" role * Supervise labour hire * Pick up materials * Help set up and keep the site clean * Light demo work * Oversee earthworks and dust suppression * Digging, trenching, compacting, levelling * Concrete cutting and removal * Minor door/lock installs and fixes * Some wall framing and sheeting * Footings, reinforcing, small concrete jobs * Decking and roof structures * Landscaping and turfing Skills & experience * Qualified Carpenter * Experience in Maintenance Carpentry * Commercial Experience * Experience with organising trades Benefits Career Development opportunities, Paid overtime, vehicle allowance About us Frontline Recruitment Group was established in 1995 and is made up of Industry specific verticals with specialist consultants working to help match great candidates with great career opportunities.
