Director, Quality Care Pharmacy Program (QCPP) The Pharmacy Guild of Australia (the Guild) is a member organisation representing the owners of community pharmacies.
Our members form a network of trusted healthcare professionals across Australia.

About the Role The Quality Care Pharmacy Program is a quality assurance program focused on continuous improvement of community pharmacy services.
It operates within a quality management system framework including business and professional standard elements, procedures and templates against which community pharmacies can be assessed and accredited.
The Director, QCPP provides leadership and strategic direction to QCPP and supports a collaborative, team-based environment to achieve the program objectives.
This is a full-time position based at the Guild's National Secretariat in Canberra.
About You You are an enthusiastic and focused professional with experience in leading project or program teams and managing projects from initiation to completion.
You will have a highly developed understanding of Quality Management Systems, Standards and Accreditation, with the ability to implement change management and continuous improvement programs including quality assurance.
You will have a strategic and organisational perspective and be able to work across multiple settings and levels.
You will demonstrate the ability to cultivate productive working relationships and communicate with influence.

Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and strategic direction to QCPP and support a collaborative, team-based setting to achieve QCPP objectives Contribute to Guild strategic objectives by ensuring development of strategies aligned to Guild priorities Develop and oversee business plans and budgets that support QCPP objectives and align with Guild priorities Enable strategic and operational planning to support practical implementation Drive a continuous improvement environment through quality initiatives and projects that deliver on identified strategies and key result areas Demonstrate high-level networking and communication with internal and external stakeholders and partners Provide high-level advice on accreditation and quality management matters and produce high-quality written material as required Contract management of QCPP Assessment Services, including identification of improvement opportunities, budget management and performance oversight Review trending analysis, identify risks and opportunities, and drive continuous improvement, innovation and business development Coordinate the QCPP governance framework including policy and procedure management Maintain QCPP viability through effective financial, performance and risk management Act as a leader within Practice and Health Services to role model values and foster a high-performance culture Qualifications and Experience Driving strategic initiative and direction Business management and financial management, including budgeting Implementation and/or management of Quality Management/Accreditation Systems Change management and continuous improvement programs including quality assurance Procurement and Contract Management Other information The Pharmacy Guild of Australia is the national peak body representing community pharmacy.
