This role will predominantly look at analysing financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities for the Firm's clients.Whilst we are looking for someone who is based in Bunbury, we are a flexible work organisation and would be open to a chat regarding any hybrid or flexible work arrangement requests. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Processes Superannuation Fund Financial Statements and Tax Returns;Preparation and completion of SMSF Audit work papers and reports;Prepares financial statements in accordance with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards;Prepares clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed;Identifies accounting and compliance issues;Completes requisite regulatory forms;Complies with lodgement program by meeting lodgement dates and requirements;Training and coaching of junior team members, acting as a mentor/buddy; andPreparing documents for client meetings / assisting with client meetings as required. Essential Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major Desirable Completion of CA or equivalentExperience with CLASS would be advantageous 2/3 years in a similar roleStrong Communication SkillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamCommitted to continuing professional development
