Period of employment / Hours:
Permanent full-time (76.00 hours per fortnight ) day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation)
Location: Homes Tasmania - Branch – Information & Technology Management Services, Data Management and Reporting Services – Statewide (**)

Duties:
* Provide a quality data management service including level one data analysis to meet internal, state and national reporting requirements of Homes Tasmania, corporate units and external stakeholders.
* Work collaboratively with other members of the Data Management and Reporting Services team, internal members of Information Technology and Management Services and other business units to provide a holistic data management and reporting service across Homes Tasmania.
* Undertake data fixes within business applications, perform customised data extracts, provide level one data analysis, process incoming data, and design reports to support Homes Tasmania’s various data sharing activities.
* Support the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of data sources to improve reporting capability across Homes Tasmania.
* Support the development and implementation of Homes Tasmania data management and reporting initiatives.
* Assist with the development of quality data standards to support the design and structure of Homes Tasmania databases.
Skills and experience:
Selection criteria includes:
* Well-developed knowledge and expertise in data management and standards as they pertain to application development, database design and structure, performance monitoring and evaluation.
* High level ability to review, design, develop and work with complex databases, including the ability to develop SQL scripts to extract, manipulate and interrogate data.
* Well-developed communication skills including the ability to prepare and present performance reports, data submissions, customised data requests, SSRS generated reports and online content.

* Working towards or successful completion of qualifications relevant to the role.
* Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People (child related activity) Registration.
