Novafast Group is established manufacturer and industrial service businesses supporting Mining & Resources, Energy, Utilities and Heavy Industry with practical, high-quality outcomes across maintenance, shutdowns, project execution and specialist engineered solutions.
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to strengthen relationships with existing clients, expand repeat work opportunities, and introduce our capability to new clients within the same industry sectors.
This is a hands‐on commercial role suited to someone who understands industrial environments and can build credibility with site leadership, project teams, engineering managers and procurement.
About the Role
This role is focused on growing revenue through existing accounts, building a strong pipeline of new work, and supporting tender submissions and strategic client engagement.
You will work closely with operations and technical teams to ensure our client engagement is aligned to delivery capability and performance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and strengthen relationships with key clients across mining, energy and industrial sectors
* Identify and convert new opportunities within existing accounts (repeat work, expansions, additional sites)
* Introduce Novafast to new clients through structured outreach and industry networking
* Manage pipeline activity and maintain disciplined reporting and forecasting
* Support tender preparation, bid strategy, capability presentations and commercial submissions
* Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure smooth handover from BD to delivery
* Develop account plans and contribute to long‐term growth strategy
About You
You are commercially driven, relationship focused, and comfortable engaging across both operational and executive levels.
You will ideally have:
* Proven experience in business development or key account management in industrial services, engineering, maintenance, shutdowns or project delivery
* Strong knowledge of mining, resources, energy, utilities or heavy industry environments
* Ability to build trust with site‐based and technical stakeholders
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Experience contributing to tenders and commercial proposals
* A structured approach to pipeline management and opportunity qualification
Highly regarded:
* Engineering, trade, or technical background
* Experience with brownfield projects, sustaining capital, or maintenance service contracts
* Exposure to contract management and procurement frameworks
