Our organization is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Professional to join our Sustaining Capital team.
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled individual with expertise in operational health and safety, ideally within the mining or resources sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing H&S support and risk assessments across the division, partnering with operational leaders to deliver the annual H&S plan and safety initiatives, facilitating incident investigations and delivering training/coaching on H&S best practices, promoting workforce health and wellbeing through site-based initiatives, and analyzing H&S data to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience: At least 3 years in operational H&S roles, preferably within mining or resources.
* Qualifications: Relevant health and safety qualification.
* Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, strong communication and analytical skills.
* Background: Construction/civil works experience is desirable.
