**Exceptional Clinical Prosthetist Orthotist - Make a Lasting Impact at SA Health**
In this pivotal role, you'll provide exceptional prosthetic and orthotic assessment, service planning, and direct clinical services to clients accessing Orthotics and Prosthetics South Australia (OPSA) and associated clinics. A dual stream prosthetic and orthotic case load, including upper and lower limb conditions that is ideal for early career practitioners. Demonstrating your ability to work within a team and independently, providing solutions at both clinical and technical levels, you'll thrive in OPSA's team-oriented environment. Your responsibilities will largely be clinical; with participation in quality assurance, participating in ongoing professional development, mentorship, and assisting with research activities within the department.
**About **the** role**:
Reporting to the Director OPSA, some of your duties as the Clinical Prosthetist Orthotist may include:
- Delivering Prosthetic & Orthotic healthcare of the highest standard to inpatients, outpatients across all age ranges.
- Assisting and advising in pre-surgical planning and in post-operative management requiring prosthetic/orthotic services.
- Extending your technical skill set working alongside our Technical team members.
- Identifying opportunities for digital workflow in P&O context.
- Actively participating in continuing education, mentorship and review of current literature to maintain evidence based practise knowledge.

**About you**:
- Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics, or equivalent.
- Eligible for membership to Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association.
- Excellent communication skills
- both written and oral
- Highly motivated to deliver solutions with prosthetic and orthotic medical devices, with client centred approach.
- Enjoy working with others
- Exposure and experience in service delivery relating to prosthetics and orthotics.
- Experience with 3D scanning equipment relevant to prosthetics and orthotics an advantage.
