Business Development Manager Role

As a highly skilled Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing key accounts in the food and beverage sector. Your primary objective will be to build strong relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers, ultimately driving sales growth and revenue increase.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both internally and externally. They must be able to manage multiple customers across various channels, including HoReCa, distributors, and QSR. Additionally, they should have experience working in cross-functional teams with departments such as marketing, category, supply chain, and finance.

The selected candidate will also require analytical skills, enabling them to effectively utilize sales data to drive business decisions. A track record of building profitable relationships is essential, as well as the ability to travel interstate when required.

* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day requests and requirements of key accounts.
* Oversee stock through various sales channels, ensuring quality control.
* Build and maintain relationships with prospects at every level.
* Develop strategic and tactical plans for assigned customers.
* Provide exceptional internal and external stakeholder service and communication.
* Develop a solid understanding of customers' businesses and operations.
* Generate and share data-driven insights.
* Develop category offers in line with market trends and profitability targets.
* Build pipeline and understand totality of sales process and sales velocity to hit sales goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Ideal exposure to food or beverages categories.
* Exposure to food service (HoReCa, distributors, QSR).
* Ability to manage multiple customers across various channels.
* Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with various departments.
* Analytical mindset with ability to utilize sales data.
* Track record of building profitable relationships.
* Full driver's license and ability to travel interstate when required.
