With two new taphouses launched in Perth this year, we're continuing to grow. Now, we're on the hunt for our next hospo gun to lead the team at our Busselton Taphouse.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Venue Manager to take charge of our Busselton venue. This is a hands-on leadership role, balancing service excellence, team management, and financial accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People
* Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team.
* Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and rostering.
* Build a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, service, and hospitality excellence.
Venue Operations
* Oversee day-to-day service across bar, floor, and kitchen.
* Ensure consistency in guest experience, beer quality, and food presentation.
* Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships.
* Maintain compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, and workplace health & safety.
Financial & Business
* Take ownership of the venue P&L, budgeting, and reporting.
* Drive revenue growth through events, activations, and community engagement.
* Monitor and manage KPIs (sales, labour %, COGS, guest feedback).
About You
* 3+ years' experience in venue management (brewery, pub, or restaurant preferred).
* Strong financial acumen—you're confident with P&Ls, COGS, and GP.
* Current Approved Manager and Food Safety Supervisor certifications.
* Passion for craft beer, local produce, and genuine hospitality.
* Hands-on, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced service environment.
