Randstad is proud to be partnering with our client who are a well-known Australian business based in Brisbane's Northern suburbs. Due to business growth they are seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to join their small team in this newly created position.

* Competitive salary on offer - $100K - $110K+ Super depending on experience level
About the role:
Reporting into the Payroll Manager, your key duties will include:
* Fortnightly payroll processing including new starters, terminations, redundancies, leave calculations, superannuation, etc.
* Ensure compliance with payroll related legislation
* Updating and maintaining of employee records
* New starter onboarding and employee file maintenance
* Responding to employee queries in a timely manner
* Award interpretation
* Handle inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues
About you:
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role
* Chris21 or iChris experience (essential)
* Strong award interpretation skills
* A team player with excellent communication skills and a customer centric approach to your work
* Full and unlimited Australian working rights
