The opportunity to join our Newcastle team as a Principal Mechanical Engineer involves supporting and expanding our engineering and design capabilities across resources, energy and industrial sectors. Our mechanical team offers dynamic analysis, non‐linear finite element analysis (FEA) and a comprehensive suite of engineering services on small and large projects, including Bulk Materials Handling Design, Crushers, Overland Conveyors, Process Plant Equipment, Tailings Dams & Pumping Design, and NPI Equipment Design & Services.
Responsibilities
Promote an engineering innovation culture to enable your team members to respond effectively to change.
Coordinate resources across projects and support lead engineers in delegating tasks and duties to other team members.
Guide and support lead engineers throughout complex processes and technical as well as non‐technical problems.
Qualifications / What You'll Need
* Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
* Exceptional time management and organisational skills
* Experience with maintaining long‐standing relationships with clients

Our Newcastle office is located in the Hunter Mall Chambers opposite Queens Wharf, overlooking the Newcastle Harbour. Supported by Matt Brown, Operations Manager – East Coast, our local multidisciplinary teams serve East Coast clients through a range of projects and collaborate with our Perth and Mandurah teams.
