**About the role**
We are growing and so is our Marketing and Communication capability. Reporting to the General Manager Business Strategy, the Marketing and Communications Manager will work with our business strategy team of account managers and in-house designer to develop and lead the execution of Penten's marketing and communications strategy and initiatives. You will need to have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, writing and organisational skills. You must be able work efficiently and independently to manage multiple projects and campaigns to meet tight deadlines, as well as raise the cadence and voice of our audacious vision to create new technologies.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work with our senior leaders and internal partners to develop winning strategies, messaging and content for key pursuits and bids.
- Develop and implement high quality, multi-channel communications and marketing plans to support business initiatives, projects and campaigns.
- Drive brand initiatives through the delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Develop and execute organisational wide product / project specific communication and marketing strategies.
- Create, design and edit communications for internal and external publication across multiple channels.
- Work collaboratively with our internal business units to create tailored and specialised services to ensure all communication initiatives are aligned to meet stakeholder needs, and support Penten's strategic priorities.
- Work closely with our in-house Graphic Designer to develop new content across print, web, digital and social platforms.
- Monitor and report on media coverage as it relates to Penten.
**Who are you?**
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing and/or Public Relations.
- Demonstrated working experience creating and delivering marketing and communications in support of start-up, technology or defence industry.
- Experience producing and executing targeted marketing and communications strategies, plans, documents and publications delivered across a range of platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering major industry trade exhibits.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Be able to handle multiple projects, priorities and manage competing deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently, and as part of a small team and provide exceptional service to the business.
