**About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Analytics Manager to join our Pricing & Customer Value team, a business partnering function within the Commercial division of Supermarkets.
The purpose of this role is to support the optimisation of pricing tools, capability and insights for the Woolworths Supermarkets business with a strong focus on building continued price trust with our customers and maintaining Woolworths' competitiveness in the market. Our team are trusted business partners to a wide group of stakeholders and are strongly connected to the development and delivery of the strategic direction of the business.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Designing, developing and embedding bespoke database solutions and analytical tools, dashboards and reports on behalf of the broader Pricing and Customer Value team
- Optimising and running the market price collection and reporting function (including service providers, systems, processes, business insights) to support strategic direction setting and day to day decision making in pricing related matters
- Engaging with IT engineers from Information management, wiq and Data Modeling and Infrastructure teams to work together on joint outcomes
- Navigating the wider Woolworths data environment and overseeing complex analyses to support the broader Pricing and Customer Value strategy within the business
- Lead a high performing team of analysts and developers with a focus on coaching, development and team engagement
**Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced Analytics professional with additional skills in product management, stakeholder engagement and project management.
You will have extensive technical knowledge and experience and the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience partnering with commercial teams within a retail or FMCG environment would be highly beneficial.
**Requirements:
- Build strong relationships and trust with key stakeholders
- Establish high quality output standards and effective working relationships with internal and external service providers
- Be an advocate for our customers and understand the market context in which we operate
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial/business support and product management/analytics role
- Minimum of 3 years' experience managing a team, with a strong focus on coaching and development
- Proficiency with SQL and strong database management experience using systems such as Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery / Dataprep / Composer)
- Solid background in the product management of tools, dashboards & reports ( including Tableau) and back-end (data management / general ETL)
- Experience working with Agile or other project management disciplines is desirable
- Strong focus on delivery and the right attitude and approach towards challenges
- Strategic mindset and ability to understand the business environment and be a thought partner to the Pricing and Customer Value leadership team in support of direction and priority setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement responsibilities
