About the Role
We're looking for a reliable, hands‐on Maintenance Officer who enjoys practical work and takes pride in keeping things in good order.
You don't need to be a fully qualified tradie. What matters most is that you're handy, proactive, friendly and enjoy helping people.
This is a full‐time weekday role — no weekends — offering steady work, great work–life balance and the opportunity to be part of a supportive team that genuinely cares.
What You'll Be Doing
* Completing general maintenance and repairs around the site
* Fixing minor issues in resident rooms and shared areas
* Keeping buildings, gardens and common areas safe and tidy
* Responding to maintenance requests in a timely and respectful way
* Working safely and following WHS guidelines
* Supporting nearby Uniting sites occasionally (within 15 minutes, using a company vehicle)
What We're Looking For
* Experience in maintenance, facilities or general handyperson work
* Someone practical and solutions‐focused
* A friendly, approachable manner — great customer service is essential
* Comfortable chatting with residents and working as part of a team
* Reliable, motivated and takes pride in their work
* Basic computer skills
* A current NSW Driver's Licence
