Position Vacant: Automotive Technician/Mechanic and/or Auto Electrician (FORD)
The Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for vehicle servicing, diagnostics, fault finding & repair, general vehicle maintenance, day to day liaison with administration for parts & services bookings and fitting 4WD accessories to new vehicles e.g. bull bars, tow bars, electric brake controllers etc. All our staff ensure that work is carried out in a safe, efficient and in satisfaction to the customer. Some key skills and attributes required in this role include:
* A mechanic trade certification with experience in motor vehicle diagnostics.
* A keen eye for detail with understanding of vehicle components.
* Knowledge of Ford motors (desirable).
* Knowledge and experience in servicing other vehicle makes/models advantageous.
* A valid Driver's license.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills and an excellent work ethic.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Ability to use initiative and work without direct supervision.
* Reliable, trustworthy and flexible.
