As a Mine Surveyor, you have the opportunity to make a lasting impact at our mine site.
This role involves providing critical survey support to production and mine planning teams, ensuring accurate capture and reporting of survey data. You will also be responsible for conducting weekly and ad-hoc mine compliance reporting, completing on-site drone surveys/scans/photos/incident reports, conducting EOM pickups and volume calculations, and providing EOM reconciliation.
A key qualification for this role is experience in a Mine Surveying environment, as well as a keen and positive attitude. Other essential qualifications include experience working at a large-scale open-cut mining operation, a tertiary qualification in surveying or equivalent, an understanding of mining principles, design concepts, and operations, proficiency in relevant survey software including Maptek Vulcan & Point Studio, and proficiency in photogrammetry software and techniques.
