NuGrow is Queensland's leader in recycling and soil rejuvenation excellence. We thrive on the opportunity of delivering competitive and tailored solutions. Due to growth in our business, we are now seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team.
This role is responsible for the collection and delivery of organic and inorganic waste and to ensure it is transported and disposed of in an appropriate manner across various sites based in the Fraser Coast region.
The duties include but are not limited to:
* Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation and company policies and procedures.
* Collect and dispose of organic and inorganic waste according to set policies, procedures, regulations and legislation.
* Loading and unloading of greenwaste using appropriate plant and machinery where ticketed/licenced to complete.
* Perform daily safety and maintenance checks and advise manger of any service and/or maintenance requirements.
* Maintain daily records of deliveries using service delivery dockets, work diaries and timesheets.
* Ensure all activities meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management.
* Ensure care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
* Comply with NHVAS requirements.
* Develop and maintain professional relationships with with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
* Clean trucks as scheduled and/or required and ensure trucks/ equipment are safely and securely stored.
* Provide assistance to operational sites as required.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Queensland HC open licence.
* Basic Fatigue Management accreditation.
* Commit to a roster Monday to Friday.
* Chain of responsibility accreditation (highly regarded).
* Certificate III in driver operations (highly regarded).
