Vehicle Technician - Yeomans Volkswagen Vans Exeter
At Yeomans Volkswagen Commercial Exeter we are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our friendly and busy team. The successful candidate will have previous franchise dealer experience in a similar role, plus you will have access to regular support and technical information.
Within the centre, we utilise the latest diagnostic technology, tools and best practice processes so you can offer our customers the very best assistance with their service or repair. As part of your role you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, servicing and MOT testing of the full range of Nissan vehicles.
Key Responsibilities Include
Carry out diagnostic investigative work to identify & rectify faultsCarry out all make servicing to manufacturer standardsConduct full vehicle examinations to identify non-routine defects/faultsCarry out Electronic Vehicle Health Checks and Video Health ChecksCarry out vehicle road testing for diagnosis and to test repairsWork closely with Service Advisors ensuring they are kept informed of the progress of any work and fully briefed on work completedAbility to discuss technical issues directly with customers when requiredObtain appropriate authorisation before completing any workBuild and maintain a high level of technical competence for diagnosing and servicing vehicles and utilise regular training
We are looking for a candidate with a passion for delivering the highest levels of customer service through the quality of their work. Additionally, the successful applicant will also have excellent communication skills, provide a high level of customer service and have the ability to use their own initiative.
