About the role

We're looking for a full-time Marketing Coordinator to help run our content engine and drive marketing execution across the full calendar. This is a hands-on role where you'll create a consistent stream of content, support campaign delivery, and keep day-to-day marketing moving.
You'll work closely with our Head of Sales & Marketing to align on priorities and direction, but you'll have real ownership over execution: planning weekly content, capturing fresh footage, editing, publishing, coordinating assets, and improving output over time based on what's performing.
A key part of the role is creating content that can be used across organic and paid channels. That means thinking beyond what's trending and into what drives outcomes — building repeatable content series, iterating on successful concepts and formats, and producing variations that support ongoing paid creative testing.
You'll also play a key role in building and managing our creator network — handling inbound enquiries, proactively identifying and reaching out to creators, coordinating deliverables, and making sure we're consistently bringing in fresh content from people who genuinely align with muk mat.
What you'll be doing
* Help run our content engine end-to-end: planning, creating, editing, scheduling and publishing content across Instagram, Facebook, and other channels as required
* Manage execution across the marketing calendar, supporting campaigns, seasonal moments, promotions, launches and partnerships
* Build and maintain a weekly content plan (topics, hooks, formats, shoot list, schedule)
* Capture regular in-house content (product demos, "how it works", behind-the-scenes, packing/dispatch, real-world setups, customer-style POV moments)
* Edit short-form video with a strong understanding of performance fundamentals (hook, pacing, clarity, mobile-first execution)
* Create and repurpose assets for use across organic, paid and email (including cutdowns, variations and format-specific versions)
* Support the growth of our creator network: manage inbound enquiries, conduct outbound outreach, coordinate briefs/timelines, and keep deliverables on track
* Manage community engagement (comments and DMs), escalating customer support issues where appropriate
* Maintain an organised content library (naming conventions, folders, tagging) to support efficient reuse across channels
* Support and represent the brand at trade shows, events, and other relevant brand activations as required
What we're looking for
* 3+ years experience in a content, social, or marketing coordinator role (or equivalent capability creating content end-to-end)
* Demonstrated ability to plan, film, edit and publish content consistently — particularly short-form video
* Strong understanding of what performs on social, especially Reels-style content (hooks, pacing, clarity, mobile-first execution)
* Comfortable creating content that supports both organic and paid performance (variations, iterations, repeatable formats)
* Strong written communication skills for captions and supporting copy
* Comfortable with tools such as Canva and short-form editing apps (e.g. CapCut or similar)
* Highly organised and reliable — able to manage deadlines, priorities, and multiple workstreams
* Comfortable taking ownership of outputs and working to clear targets
* Interest in the outdoors, camping, caravanning or related lifestyle categories (preferred)
Our dream candidate also has...
* Experience working with creators/UGC (briefs, deliverables, basic relationship management)
* Basic photography capability and confidence capturing product-focused imagery
* Familiarity with Shopify and/or Klaviyo
* Comfortable using AI tools to speed up planning, editing and iteration — using them to improve output and performance, not replace good creative thinking
