Our client is a major large utility provider and they are seeking a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator responsible for the development and delivery of social media marketing activities across the organisation's digital channels. The role focuses on building and engaging online communities, maintaining brand health, and supporting positive corporate perceptions through industry-leading content and customer experiences. Working closely with internal stakeholders, this role provides specialist channel expertise to plan, deliver and optimise social media activity in alignment with brand and customer strategies. Key Responsibilities
* Devise, deliver and optimise the social media strategy and community growth roadmap across multiple platforms, aligned to brand and customer objectives.
* Lead the planning, production, publishing, amplification, measurement and optimisation of multimedia content, considering the customer journey and business priorities.
* Manage and optimise corporate social media channels and enterprise social media management platforms.
* Administer Facebook Business Manager and social advertising accounts, including access permissions and billing.
* Deliver always-on content programs and social and digital marketing campaigns.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders across varying levels of the organisation to ensure consistent messaging and effective delivery.
Skills and Experience
* Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital, Communications or a related field.
* Considerable experience in social media marketing, digital engagement channels and community management within a large, complex organisation.
* Strong working knowledge of social platforms including Facebook (Business Manager), Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
* Experience using social media management and monitoring tools such as Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Agora Pulse, Hootsuite or similar.
* Proven experience managing paid social campaigns, both directly and via agencies.
* Familiarity with social media community guidelines and advertising policies.
* Excellent copywriting, proofreading and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms.
* Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
* Basic to intermediate design capability using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or Kapwing.
