Our 10,000+ team works in every kind of weather and environment, creating, connecting, and caring for communities across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.*We currently have a vacancy for a Leading Hand to join our Infrastructure Services team working closely with our project teams across NSW.You'll be a proven leader who can support and motivate site teams – ensuring the focus remains on safety, quality, cost and schedule in the planning and execution of work.**Core responsibilities will include:*** Contributing to the development and implementation of SWMS and leading daily pre-start meetings to address all site requirements;* Scheduling, forecasting, procurement and management of materials, plant, personnel and subcontractors;* Coordinating with the engineering team to develop and maintain project programs;* Providing weekly/monthly program updates;* Recording daily productivity targets and documenting delays and issues;* Managing/monitoring project costs;* Resolving daily site issues;* Identifying hazards and assessing risk through regular safety audits and environmental risk assessments as per Fulton Hogan procedures;* Giving feedback to the Project Manager on individual and team performance, safety, quality and timeliness of work.* Experience in delivering profitability on civil construction projects within a safe working environment;* Experience in concrete project works and backgrounds are desirable;* Relevant maintenance and trade qualifications and tickets;* Excellent organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines;* The ability to positively influence and lead a team;* A proven commitment to site safety;* Computer literacy with demonstrated ability to complete reports in a timely manner.* Apply now to learn more about the applicable hourly rate and allowances.* Our Living Safely culture ensures that we care for ourselves, each other and the communities that we work in.* We invest in our people's career development and provide pathways in the form of apprenticeships, traineeships, or certificate(s) opportunities.
