Synergie is seeking an experienced Supervisor for a Government building and maintenance organisation located in Rockhampton.

• Pay rate: $61.64 per hour + super
• Duration: temp contract with potential for extension
• Monday to Friday roster – full-time hours
• Great opportunity to work on varied government construction and maintenance projects

What you will be required to do:
You will play a key role in supervising and coordinating a range of construction, maintenance and upgrade works, ensuring safety, quality and compliance are achieved across all activities.
• Prepare accurate and timely project documentation, estimates and tenders
• Supervise office staff, field teams and subcontractors to deliver quality outcomes
• Undertake site inspections, condition assessments, and WHS audits
• Ensure all work meets safety, compliance and environmental standards
• Promote services and support positive client relationships

To be successful in the role you will:
• Have proven supervisory experience within the construction or maintenance industry
• Display sound understanding of building project lifecycles and WHS standards
• Possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Have computer literacy and the ability to manage documentation efficiently
• Hold a current Construction Induction (White) Card
• (Desirable) Hold a trade qualification in building or a related field
• Have full working rights in Australia
• Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to work
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role
