Administrative healthcare support position

Permanently employed in a full-time role, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in healthcare as an entry-level Junior Medical Receptionist at our Mount Medical Centre, Hollywood Hospital and Bethesda Hospital.

You will be working Monday-Friday with a 1 in 3 Saturdays mornings. Your day will consist of providing exceptional customer service to patients and stakeholders, making it a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to advance in a customer-facing role. Full on-the-job training and support will be provided during the first eight weeks, with ongoing development opportunities throughout your career.

The role involves various tasks including:

* Providing a welcoming experience for patients at the front desk, offering assistance when needed.
* Chaperoning medical imaging procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
* Handling administrative tasks, including the preparation and printing of consent forms with attention to detail.
* Coordinating the packing and dispatch of films/CDs for swift courier delivery, ensuring timely arrival.
* Serving as a vital communication link between staff, technicians, and doctors, ensuring smooth workflow.
* Maintaining organized reception and kitchen areas for both staff and patients.
* Coordinating refreshments for doctors.
* Ensuring confidentiality by securely destroying sensitive documents and protecting patient information.
* Tracking and following up on outstanding reports, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.

To be considered, you should possess:

* A minimum of 1 year's experience in a customer service role.
* The ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
* The capacity to learn and use software and systems.
* An approachable demeanor and high level of patient care.
* A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
