Due to the exciting growth and development our Client, is looking for a Hotel Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. As part of a dedicated and dynamic management team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our hotel, ensuring its operational success, and driving revenue growth
About the Role:
As Hotel Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the hotel’s operations, focusing on both customer service excellence and financial performance. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you'll work alongside the Managing Director, Operations Manager, part-time Duty Managers, Housekeeping, Facilities, and Body Corporate Committee members.
Your primary focus will be to drive guest experience. In addition, you’ll manage compliance, day-to-day hotel operations, and ensure smooth operations, all while working closely with our centralised sales, revenue, finance, and HR teams to meet profit targets.
You will have the responsibility for overseeing the Facilities Management and Cleaning Staff, ensuring guests' needs are met, engaging with customers, and resolving any issues that arise during their stay. In the absence of senior management, you will be entrusted with ensuring the smooth running of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and supervise guest check-ins and check-outs.
* Provide exceptional service and handle guest complaints professionally and promptly.
* Manage accounts, settlements, and inquiries efficiently.
* Communicate with all departments to ensure customer satisfaction is consistently achieved.
* Liaise with the Ownership Group, Body Corporate Committee, and Contractors.
* Oversee staff rosters, linen and consumables ordering, stock control, and building maintenance.
* Assist in training the Front Office team, Housekeeping, and Facilities Management teams.
* Complete shift audits, handle banking, and report end-of-month procedures, management reporting to senior management.
What We're Looking For:
* At least 12 months of experience as an Assistant Manager/Duty Manager in a similar property.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
* Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the confidence to handle complex issues and problem-solve.
* Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Impeccable grooming and personal presentation.
* Qualifications :
o RSA Licence
o Certificate IV in Real Estate
* Work Rights : Unlimited working rights in Australia.
Flexibility & Availability:
To succeed in this role, the ability to work a varied roster, including weekdays, weekends, public holidays, and school holidays, is essential.
Shifts would primarily be Thursday to Monday from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm/Saturday & Sunday from 8.30 am to 3.00 pm.
