Locationâ
This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort comprises of 295 guest rooms, suites and villas. â

Departmentâ
We are currently seeking a Public Areas Attendant to form an integral part of the Housekeeping team. This position reports to the Executive Housekeeper.â
â
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:â
* Availability to work nights, including weekends and public holidaysâ
* Clean restrooms, mirrors, sinks, counter tops, cigarette urns and toilets in public areasâ
* Empty rubbish bins and pick up loose paper from the floors, clean sinks and counter tops, vacuum, sweep and mop floorsâ
* Replace toilet tissue and refill soap containers and paper towel dispensersâ
* Ensure that any lost and found items are logged with housekeeping valet as per the standard and procedureâ
* Clean and polish furniture, marble floors, vinyl floors, entrance doors, walls and other fixturesâ
* Dust and clean light bulbs and lampshadesâ
* Spot clean and shampoo carpets as requiredâ
* Empty rubbish bins, vacuum and dust officesâ
* Maintain the highest standard of personal cleanliness and groomingâ
* Report any maintenance issues to a Supervisorâ
* Must be able to exert well-paced mobility and agility in a variety of work areas including small spacesâ

Preferred applicants will have valid working rights to work in Australia. Sponsorship will not be available for this position. â

* Experience in similar role within an International standard 4 or 5 star Hotel (desirable)â
