Operating across design, construction and maintenance, the business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial projects across public infrastructure, education, hospitality, healthcare and large-scale developments.
With continued growth across their commercial division, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team based in Osborne Park.
About the Role
Reporting to the Bid Manager, this role will see you leading the estimating function across a range of commercial landscape and civil construction tenders valued up to $10M+. You will oversee two Estimators within the team while remaining hands‐on with your own tenders and pricing responsibilities.
Working closely with subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders, you will play a key role in securing future projects and ensuring accurate, commercially competitive submissions.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed cost estimates, take-offs and tender submissions for commercial construction projects
* Review drawings, specifications and contract documentation to determine project scope and risk
* Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure competitive commercial outcomes
* Liaise with builders, clients and consultants throughout the tender process
* Assist with procurement, post-award support and variation estimating
* Mentor and oversee two Estimators within the commercial team
* Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and industry stakeholders
About You
* Previous estimating experience within civil, landscape or commercial construction
* Strong understanding of construction methodology, project costing and tendering processes
* Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and contracts
* Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
* High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously
* Leadership capability or desire to step into a senior position overseeing junior staff
