We are seeking a Senior Category Manager to play a key role in driving the success of our clients product categories. You will be responsible for executing category strategies that drive sales and enhance profit margins, that align with the overall category vision.
In this role, you will be instrumental in analysing market trends to ensure our product offerings remain competitive and relevant. Your ability to leverage data for pricing strategies and collaborate closely with marketing and creative teams will be essential in promoting products effectively and maximising their market potential.
The Role:
- Develop and execute category strategies based on market analysis and competitor assessments.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform decisions.
- Contribute to setting the category budget.
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand consumer preferences.
- Collaborate across internal teams and departments on key projects.
- Drive sales and margin by implementing competitive, data-driven pricing and working with creative and marketing teams for effective product promotion.
About You:
- Proven experience in category management, merchandising, or buying within the homeware or general merch sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful product strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in the furniture industry is highly regarded.
