As part of the leadership team, both Assistant Store Managers will support the Store Manager in launching Macpac's Innaloo Adventure Hub — a destination store offering a broader range of gear and a true outdoor retail experience.
Role Overview
As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll play a key role in establishing strong foundations as our Innaloo Adventure Hub opens its doors. Working alongside the Store Manager, you'll help create pace on the shop floor, embed routines, and support the team to deliver consistently strong results as the store grows.
You'll be instrumental in building operational rhythm in a new store environment, and ensuring the team is set up for success — balancing day‐to‐day execution with a focus on the customer experience. This role is suited to leaders who enjoy being present on the floor, influencing through action, and helping teams perform at their best.
What you will do
* Support launch and day‐to‐day operations of the new store.
* Embed routines and operational rhythm.
* Coach the team for strong performance and customer experience.
* Drive momentum through coaching, routines and execution.
* Manage sales performance, training and daily priorities.
* Ensure compliance with store standards including VM, stock flow, safety and security.
Ideal Experience & Skills
* Management or supervisory experience in a retail or customer service environment.
* A lead‐by‐example approach with strong floor presence.
* Adaptability and resilience in a fast‐moving, new‐store setting.
* Ability to coach and support sales performance and training.
* Experience working across store standards including VM, stock flow, safety and security.
