Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team. This is a mid-senior level position that requires strong contract administration skills and experience in the construction industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and negotiating construction contracts, managing variations, claims, disputes and ensuring contractual compliance.
Additionally, the role involves working closely with project teams to align contracts with project needs, preparing progress claims, payment certificates and financial reports, monitoring contractor performance and compliance, building and maintaining strong stakeholder and subcontractor relationships, conducting contract risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies and supporting resolution of contractual disputes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 4+ years' contract admin experience in construction, including $50M+ projects
* Strong understanding of contracts, legislation, codes and standards
* Skilled in negotiation, communication and stakeholder management
* Detail-oriented with a structured approach to contract processes
* Defence and Health sector experience highly regarded
* Team player with solid collaboration skills
* Proficient in contract systems and MS Office
* Tertiary qualifications in construction or QS preferred
