**About the Role**
We're looking for an organised and adaptable Administration Officer to join our high-performing Aged Care Assessment Service team.
Based at Wallsend, you'll be at the heart of a large, busy service that supports older people across the Hunter. Your role will be varied, fast-paced and essential to keeping operations running smoothly - from answering calls and booking appointments to providing vital administrative support for our clinical and non-clinical assessors.
**In this role, you'll**:
- Provide professional and efficient administrative support to the Aged Care Assessment Service
- Accurately enter data and maintain electronic records using programs such as My Aged Care
- Manage appointment bookings and coordinate schedules
- Assist with filing, document management and other office systems
- Work closely with assessors to support their day-to-day needs in the delivery of services
**About You**
You're a confident communicator and efficient multi-tasker with an interest in working with the aged population. You thrive in busy environments, pick up systems quickly, and can juggle competing priorities without losing your attention to detail.
**You must have**:
- Advanced computer and data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a high-demand setting
- A collaborative, team-focused approach with the ability to work independently when required
- Initiative and problem-solving skills to keep workflows moving smoothly
