Commercial P&C Underwriter
Barker Munro Recruitment, a leading Insurance recruitment agency in the South East and surrounding regions, is working with a fantastic global insurance business who are currently looking to add to their commercial underwriting team with the appointment of a Commercial Underwriter in their Suffolk office.
As a Commercial Underwriter you will deliver on trading team targets through profitable underwriting of commercial risks across SME risks focusing mainly within renewals. You\'ll be able to build strong relationships with brokers and build a reputation as a regional underwriting expert.
Responsibilities
* Deliver on trading team targets through profitable underwriting of commercial risks across SME risks, focusing mainly within renewals.
* Build strong relationships with brokers and establish a reputation as a regional underwriting expert.
Qualifications
* Experience underwriting property and/or casualty risks with the ability to trade with brokers in order to grow your book of business.
* Knowledge and experience will ideally come from an insurer background, but experience from commercial broking will also be considered.
