What you'll be doing
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the release of patient health information within our Coffs Clinical Network sites. This includes but not limited to releasing information for ongoing patient care, patient/third party requests, subpoenas, law enforcement, child protection, and coronial investigations. The position also holds an important role as a member of a wider CCN Health Information & Record Services team. Your key challengers will be maintaining excellent customer service standards; ensuring work is completed in accordance with legislation, policies and procedures and deadlines & managing competing priorities.
About You
You are an organised and proactive administration professional with experience working in fast-paced environments, ideally within healthcare. You have experience using Patient Administration Systems (PAS), Microsoft Office, and handling sensitive medical information with a high level of confidentiality.
Able to work independently and manage competing priorities, you demonstrate strong communication skills and build positive relationships with staff, patients, and stakeholders at all levels. You have a sound understanding of privacy requirements, healthcare procedures, and escalation processes, with a strong focus on accuracy, professionalism, and delivering excellent administrative support.
