About the role
* Plasterer – New Build Project (Aged Care Facility)
* Full Time Perm, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
* Newcastle/ Maitland Region
* Company provided vehicle
Key Responsibilities:
* Hang and fix plasterboard/drywall sheeting to a high standard across walls and ceilings.
* Set and finish plasterboard joints with precision to achieve a smooth, seamless surface.
* Install cornices and decorative mouldings with attention to alignment and detail.
* Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary base coats to ensure a smooth, even finish ready for painting.
* Maintain high quality workmanship in line with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
* Work efficiently to meet construction timelines while upholding site cleanliness and safety protocols.
* Collaborate with other trades and site supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and integration of tasks.
Skills and experience:
* Certificate III in Solid Plastering or a Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining or Carpentry preffered
* Construction white card required.
* Driver's license required.
* Police Check WWAC & WWCC required.
* Valid Work Right Australian Citizen or PR
