We currently have a job opportunity for a full-time Qualified Panel Beater with an immediate start for the appropriate person.
The suitable applicant would hold the following traits: · Hold a Panel Beater Qualification · Good work ethics with a dedication to the job at hand · Have experience working in the trade · Capable of working independently but also able to be a team player · Reliable and Punctual – able to keep allocated start and finish times reasonable request · Hold a current Driver's Licence · Excellent communication and Customer Service Skills.
Some of the duties of the role are: Remove damaged panels from vehicles, small and large using various power and hand tools.
Remove hardware from vehicle in accordance with repair area.
Carry out body repairs on all makes and models of vehicles, with use of grinders, files, hammers, dolly's, rubbing blocks.
Conducting major repairs with use of MIG welding, spot welding, and plastic welding.
Pulling chassis with chassis straightening machine.
Replace with new or used parts.
Follow correct procedures and guidelines relating to body repairs.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Good attention to detail with a passion for body repairs.
Abide by OH S guidelines at all times in the workshop.
