We are seeking a Cook to join the team at Warwick Aged Care. In this role, you will prepare nutritious, home-style meals that bring comfort and enjoyment to our residents while supporting a safe and welcoming kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and cooking meals in line with dietary requirements
* Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
* Completing basic kitchen record keeping
* Assisting with stock control and ordering
* Working both independently and as part of a supportive hospitality team
About You Essential
* Demonstrated knowledge of commercial food preparation, cooking processes and food hygiene
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain, where applicable)
* Current Police Check or willingness to obtain
* Valid Australian work rights (Sponsorship is not available)
Desirable
* Previous cooking experience in aged care or bulk catering (highly regarded)
* Basic computer skills
* Confident communicator with a positive, team-focused attitude
