Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Claims Specialist to manage the end-to-end claim receivables process. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of insurance claims payments and receivables, collaborating with the Insurance Claims Team, Claims Officers, AR and Master Data staff.
This is a vital position in our organization, requiring attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple payment transactions and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage payments for insurance claims, including repairers, assessors, third parties, and hire car companies
* Coordinate with Claims Officers and Accounts Payable to ensure claims are closed accurately
* Resolve outstanding payment matters and discrepancies efficiently
* Process and reconcile payments in SAP and the Zurich Legacy System
* Review and upload weekly XML updates to maintain accurate financial records
* Notify business units of significant claim payment changes
Requirements
* Experience in accounts payable, claims processing, or insurance accounts
* Familiarity with SAP or similar financial management systems
* Ability to manage multiple payment transactions and resolve discrepancies
* Understanding of insurance claims processes and payment cycles, including AR management
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (desired)
