Next Generation Taekwondo aims to promote participation in Taekwondo across Adelaide. The role is crucial for the organisation as it identifies and addresses gaps in junior participation, promotes engagement with local communities, and administers an athlete database.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Identify existing barriers to junior participation in Taekwondo
* Develop strategies to increase junior participation in Taekwondo
* Administer a comprehensive database of athletes participating in junior Taekwondo programs
* Collaborate with local Taekwondo clubs and associations to promote junior participation
* Implement high-quality training sessions and programs for junior athletes
* Represent the organisation at community events and meetings
* Provide valuable feedback on digital platforms
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant qualification and 1-2 years of experience working in a similar role. They should have strong communication skills, be able to build relationships with stakeholders, and demonstrate initiative in addressing challenges.
