Earlyrise Baking Co is a fourth‑generation regional wholesale bakery business proudly serving NSW communities for over 100 years. Our Village Bakehouse stores are known for exceptional customer service, our signature Bakehouse Blend coffee, artisan pastries and award‑winning pies.
We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to lead operations at our Village Bakehouse Bathurst site.
You may occasionally be required to travel to other Village Bakehouse or Earlyrise Baking Co corporate‑related sites for training, team development or operational support.
About the Role
As Hospitality Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of Village Bakehouse Bathurst and ensure the business operates smoothly, efficiently and in line with our brand standards. You will lead the front‑of‑house team, support coordination with kitchen and bakery production, manage stock and labour planning, uphold exceptional service standards and ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements.
This role is suited to someone passionate about hospitality, people leadership and delivering memorable customer experiences within a high‑volume food service environment.
What You Bring
* Experience in hospitality, bakery, quick‑service or food‑service management
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a high‑performing team
* A genuine passion for great food, customer service and leading people
* Excellent organisation and time‑management skills
* Ability to stay calm and effective during high‑volume periods
* Food Safety or Food Handling Certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Flexibility with working hours
* A positive attitude and enthusiasm for the Village Bakehouse brand
Roster & Flexibility
Village Bakehouse Bathurst operates 7 days per week, offering morning, daytime and afternoon shifts.
As Hospitality Manager, you will be expected to:
* Work at least one weekend shift each fortnight
* Complete two closing shift per week at a minimum
Flexibility is essential to ensure smooth daily operations
Starting salary: From $76,515 per annum (based on experience, award rates and shift allowances)
