Overview
Are you ready to contribute to the delivery of large scale electrical infrastructure projects across the energy sector? We are seeking experienced Electrical Estimators / Bid Coordinators to express interest in upcoming opportunities working on HV substations, transmission lines, and renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate the end-to-end tendering process for high value energy infrastructure projects
* Prepare detailed first principles cost estimates, BOQs, and RFQs to support bids
* Review and manage subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure alignment with scope and budgets
* Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure technical and commercial consistency in bids
* Maintain bid documentation, assumptions, risk registers, and approval workflows
* Conduct site visits to gather project specific data for accurate cost modeling
* Identify and manage risks and opportunities to optimise bid outcomes
* Support continuous improvement of bid and estimating processes
About You / Qualifications
* Proven experience in estimating and coordinating bids for HV substations, switching stations, BESS, and transmission line projects
* Expertise in first principles estimating, BOQs, RFQs, and tendering processes
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and electrical systems for energy projects
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and time management skills
* A degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification, or proven experience as an HV Field Electrician / Project Engineer with estimating exposure
* Proficiency in estimating software
