Assistant Manager, Development

This role supports the strategic advancement by contributing to fundraising initiatives that build affinity, generate revenue, and strengthen donor relationships.
Key accountabilities include:
* Campaign management
* Stewardship and communications with donors
* Data analysis and prospect research
* Preparation of donor communications
The Assistant Manager helps secure bequests, major gifts, and grants, and supports fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and stewardship activities.
Strong communication, relationship management, and strategic thinking skills are essential to develop compelling cases for support and foster long-term engagement.
Proficiency in data analytics and database management is vital to track donor interactions, evaluate campaign performance, and inform strategies.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of donor behaviour and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
They will be highly organised, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Additionally, they will have a passion for developing and delivering effective fundraising strategies that meet the needs of the organisation and its stakeholders.
They will also be able to provide excellent customer service and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organisational goals.
