Who We Are
Cessnock Multipurpose Children's Centre (CMCC) is a non-profit, community-based organisation committed to providing exceptional early childhood education and care. As a registered charity, we operate seven services, with an eighth preschool opening in mid-2025. Our services include:
Two Long Day Care Centres
One Preschool (with another opening soon)
Four Out of School Hours (OOSH) Services
Our educators are supported by a dedicated team, including management, educational leaders, catering, transport/logistics, and maintenance teams—ensuring that you can focus on what truly matters: nurturing and educating young children.
About the Role
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will:
Develop and implement engaging educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) & National Quality Framework (NQF).
Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a warm, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Document children's progress using an online platform to support their development.
Collaborate with a passionate team to maintain consistency and high standards across the centre.
Ensure health & safety standards are met, following procedures to maintain a safe and nurturing space for children.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified educators who are committed to creating positive learning experiences for children.
Essential:
Certificate III, Diploma in early childhood education (or equivalent qualification)
Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an Education & Care Setting)
Desirable:
Understanding of the EYLF & NQF
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Time management & organisational abilities
Creativity and enthusiasm in designing educational programs
