About the role
RSB Travel Pty Ltd / Coal River Coaches is seeking enthusiastic Bus and Tour Drivers to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania. As a casual employee, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guided tours and transportation services to our clients. Whether you're comfortable driving an 8-seat minibus or a 57-seat coach, we have opportunities to suit your skills and experience.
What you'll be doing
* Our services in Tasmania range across Cruise Ship passenger transport in all ports, Commentary guided tours statewide, standard driver only service statewide, school runs and charters - Hobart Regions, premium airport group transport & more.
* Safely transporting passengers to and from tour destinations
* Providing informative and engaging commentary about the local history, culture, and attractions
* Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicles
* Adhering to all relevant traffic laws and safety regulations
* Assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking the vehicles
* Handling any customer inquiries or concerns in a professional manner
What we're looking for
* A valid driver's licence appropriate for the size of vehicle you will be operating (e.g. car, light rigid, medium rigid)
* Experience in a customer service or tourism-related role
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* A friendly, outgoing personality and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences
* Knowledge of the local area and its attractions, or a willingness to learn
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
