The Role
As our HR Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in attracting and securing top talent across technical and non-technical roles. You’ll also provide generalist HR support, contributing to the full employee lifecycle, compliance, and exciting HR projects. You will play a vital role in shaping our employer brand and ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead full cycle recruitment processes
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and sourcing strategies
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, and referrals
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure alignment with role and culture
- Maintain and optimise our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Support employer branding initiatives, university outreach, and diversity goals
- Assist with workforce planning and recruitment metrics reporting and analysis
- Support onboarding processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide generalist HR support including onboarding, policy development, and employee queries

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need
- Qualification in HR or a related field
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role
- Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, ideally within a fast‑paced environment
- Strong knowledge of Australian workplace relations laws
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter)
- Passion for candidate experience and employer branding
- A proactive, collaborative, and values‑driven mindset
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in aerospace, defence, or manufacturing industries
- Driver's License, preferred (due to the location of our office)
