What You'll Be Doing:
* Prepare and bake a variety of bread, rolls, and pastries to the highest quality standards.
* Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and equipment checks are completed before every shift.
* Follow health and safety guidelines with care and professionalism.
* Accurately weigh and measure ingredients, mix and knead dough, and operate bakery equipment safely.
* Oversee the full baking process — from shaping dough to baking, cooling, icing, and decorating.
* Work efficiently to ensure all customer and store orders are completed on time.
* Communicate with the Bakery Manager to maintain supply levels and support smooth daily operations.
* Collaborate with your team to achieve daily targets while delivering consistently great results.
* Uphold Bakers Delight's high standards of product quality and presentation.
* Assist in maintaining cost controls and supporting the bakery's overall profitability.
What We're Looking For:
* A positive team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
* Previous bakery experience is a bonus, but we're happy to train the right person.
* Reliable and punctual — able to start early at 12:00 AM.
* Must have own transport to get to work.
* Able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
* Committed to food safety, hygiene, and total quality management.
