Build our marketing capability from the ground up.
You'll operate as a one‑person function initially (with outsourced design / creative partners) and scale the function over time.
What You'll Do
* Build the Function: collaboratively define the strategy, structure, tools, and processes.
* Stand up the core stack (website/CMS, analytics, CRM, email, social, governance).
* Be hands‑on: act as a one‑person shop – plan, write, execute, and report.
* Manage outsourced design and other vendors for quality, cost, and speed.
* Brand & Positioning: evolve our brand identity and messaging; ensure consistency and clarity across regions and enterprise buyer groups.
* Voice of the Customer: establish feedback loops (interviews, win/loss, surveys) to inform offers, messaging, and content.
* Lead Generation & Campaigns: own the end‑to‑end demand engine, run always‑on and campaign programs (web, social, email, paid, partner co‑marketing), build landing pages and nurture flows, manage attribution, and report on marketing‑sourced and marketing‑influenced pipeline.
* Events & Field Marketing: plan and deliver roundtables, webinars, partner events, and selected conferences across AU & US; target the right accounts, prep speakers, manage logistics, and convert to meetings and opportunities.
* Sales & Recruitment Enablement: partner with Sales and Talent Acquisition to produce collateral, proposals, case studies, playbooks, and field events that convert to meetings and roles filled.
* Digital & Content: oversee website, social, and content calendar; ship thought leadership and case studies; drive conversion‑rate optimisation and performance marketing.
* Measure & Optimise: define KPIs (brand, pipeline, recruitment), run experiments, and refine channel mix and messaging.
* Plan for Growth: propose a phased in‑house hiring roadmap as we scale.
Requirements
* Enterprise exposure: experience marketing to large enterprises and big brands, ideally with ASX/Nasdaq/NYSE‑listed companies (buyer committees, longer cycles, compliance, enterprise procurement).
* 10+ years of B2B marketing experience (ideally technology consulting), including senior ownership of brand and demand.
* Strong track record in lead generation, funnel design, nurture programs, attribution, and events/field marketing (AU & US).
* Collaborative operator who partners well with Sales, People & Talent, and Delivery leaders.
* Excellent storytelling – translating technical services into clear, value‑led narratives.
* Values‑aligned: practical, authentic, data‑informed, and biased to action.
* Ability to build and run marketing as a one‑person function, plus manage outsourced creative partners.
