We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Aboriginal Mental Health Liaison Officers to join the Broome Mental Health Unit (BMHU).
This role provides a cultural security and liaison service to Aboriginal patients and non-Indigenous employees within the Broome (BHMU). Works as part of the Aboriginal Mental Health Team in the planning and delivery of culturally appropriate patient care.
Pursuant of Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, the occupant of this position must be of Aboriginal descent.
This is an “open-ended” recruitment pool for Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual apppointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
